July Pre-Camp Band

7/2 & 7/4 (T & W) 12:30-2:30pm for band, 3:15-5:15pm for color guard

7/10 & 7/11 (W & Th) 12:30-2:30pm for band, 3:15-5:15pm for CG

7/17 & 7/18 (W & Th) 12:30-2:30pm for band, 3:15-5:15pm for CG

7/24 & 7/25 (W & Th) 12:30-2:30pm for band, 3:15-5:15pm for CG

What is pre-camp band?

Pre-camp is when we start to learn the music for our show. These are not mandatory practices, but will help you to master your part and instrument

What to expect:

Marching band camp is how we prepare our competitive show for the fall. Attendance is mandatory. It will be difficult. It will be hot. You will get breaks, but you will need to focus during practice and rehearsal so that we can create an amazing show. We will be performing in 8 competitions this year, so we will be bringing up our game more than ever before.

What to bring:

1. Sneakers- DO NOT WEAR CROCS, FLIP FLOPS, OR SLIDES

2. Food-There will be scheduled dinner breaks (usually 4-4:45)

3. Water Bottle- We will be out in the sun in the afternoon or evening, so it is important to stay hydrated. In order to keep practice moving, it's best to have your own water bottle for a quick break

4. Sunscreen/hat- Being in the sun for 2 hours can make most people burn. Please come prepared.
